Call for papers for “RIO Journal” Special Issue: “Identities in the organisational context”

For this special edition (April 2022) we invite submissions of papers on “Identities in the organisational context” which may include topics like (but are not limited to):

  • Identity work processes in the organisational domain

  • Collective identities and social sustainable indicators (employees’ wellbeing, turnover, engagement, etc.)

  • New methods for exploring identities and identity work processes

  • Identity transitions

  • Social identities and group dynamics

  • Emotions and identity work

Articles submitted to the Editorial Committee must not have been previously published and may not be simultaneously under consideration at other academic journals.

Submission details

Extended abstract submission: October 30th, 2021
Full paper submission: November 30th, 2021
Final version of revised articles: February 1st, 2022

Abstract can be no longer than 2 pages, single spaced, Times New Roman 10 pt. font.
Submit the document as either word document (.doc) or .pdf file. The document should include:

Abstract Title: Title should be concise and clearly identify the nature of the study.
The title should be in ALL CAPS, using Times New Roman 10 pt. font. Center the title on the page.

List all authors: Two lines below title (still centered), in Times New Roman 10 pt. font.
Authors’ affiliation. On a new line, after the last author’s name, list the affiliation for each of the

Text: Text should start on the left-hand side of the page two lines below the author’s names/affiliations.
Please format your extended abstract to include a brief introduction, followed by methods and finally
the results/discussion.
